iPhone Dev Team has hacked the iOS 6 Golden Master (GM), the leader is releasing new versions of Redsn0w for Mac and Windows so that rogue developers can test their jailbreak apps counter to the new software.
The iPhone Dev Team’s MuscleNerd said (In a tweet), “redsn0w dev4 tethered JB updated for yesterday’s 6.0 GM (developer openssh style),” adding that whoever is interested should see their blog update… MuscleNerd, on the Dev Team Blog, notes that “the “dev4” version covers all the betas and yesterday’s 6.0 GM seed,” adding that “there are some remaining issues with Cydia and fundamental modules like PreferenceLoader, so it remains an openssh-style developer-only release only for now!”
For the latest Redsn0w downloads for OS X and Windows, interested parties can visit the Dev Team blog now… Concerning a public jailbreak for iOS 6, it is still off. It is thought that the hackers still have to test their exploits on new-generation hardware, comprising the iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch.
Apple TV (3rd G) and iPad are still awaiting their untethered jailbreaks even on iOS 5… Universally, the existing version of Apple’s mobile operating systems installed on iDevices… It is expected more updates from the iPhone Dev Team , as iOS 6 is released to the masses on September 19, the same from the members of Chronic Dev, comprising the well-known Pod2g.
Nearly all iDevices from 2009 and later, iOS 6 is compatible with them… Two days after the iOS 6 public debut which is on September 21, the new iPhone 5 will be actually on hand.
