When laptops came out, they were considered a great way to stay in touch with your work even when you were on the go. They provided you with the complete functionality of a desktop computer, and eliminated the requirement to stay at one place in order to use them. This was made possible due to optimizing the hardware components in such a way that they can be run on battery power. Even though there have been a lot of improvements in terms of the charge a laptop’s battery can hold to provide power to the machine, it still poses a big issue to users. Its fine if you get to charge the laptop battery after every few hours, but if you travel a lot, it’s a safe bet to say that your laptop runs out of battery charge quiet frequently. Today, we have an application for Windows called Battery Optimizer that optimizes your laptop in order to prolong the battery life. All of your system components, both hardware and software, are diagnosed, and suggestions are provided to the user on how to conserve the battery. Moreover, you can create Profiles to quickly apply the required settings to save remaining power.
The main interface provides you with a report of the current battery state. You can see the Time left at Current Charge, Battery Health, Potential Battery Life, and Potential Gain in Battery Life (after performing any optimizations). Upon first start, the Potential Battery Life and Potential Gain in Battery Life sections will have “Diagnostic Needed” in the information field. Click the Run Diagnostic button to start the analysis.
